After careful and thorough analysis, we have decided to cease all operations in the State of New York. This decision is effective immediately and encompasses every subsidiary under the Bollard Holdings LLC umbrella.
This choice is not made lightly but stems from a profound concern for the increasingly challenging economic environment and regulatory framework in New York. We believe in fostering a business climate that respects the principles of free enterprise and the broader American values of liberty and individual rights. Unfortunately, our experiences operating in New York have been increasingly at odds with these principles.
We find ourselves in a situation where the state’s regulatory and economic policies do not align with the foundational values that Bollard Holdings LLC stands for. Operating in an environment that, in our view, often undermines the efforts and potential of businesses, does not constitute a sustainable or productive investment for our stakeholders.
Looking ahead, we are excited about the opportunities to realign our resources and focus on markets and environments that are more conducive to our business model and core values. This strategic shift is aimed at strengthening our operations and enhancing our ability to serve you better.
